Update: NSW Housing Reforms

Lane Cove Council was infomed by the NSW Department of Planning that their housing target is to be 3,400 new completed homes by 2029. It is not yet confirmed if the homes approved to be developed in the St Leonards South Precinct will contibute to meeting this target.

Lane Cove Council Solar Made Simple Workshop was held on 19 March 2024. It was a community led night to educate on the cost saving benfits of converting your home to solar power. In The Cove published an article which I contributed to, read here.

Craft, Chat and Coffee in the Cove

On the third Friday of every month Clr Kennedy and I gather at Nibu Cafe with the community to craft,chat and coffee. Join us at 11am and you can come even without your craft to just chat.

Community forum moves to Monday night

2024-04-18

In March 2024, Lane Cove council moved their public forum night to the Monday night in the week prior to the Ordinary Council meeting on the Thursday night. This is not ideal, the community now has less time to read through the business papers prior to the night of speaking. I was interviewed by The Guardian and you can read here.
